In 2013, Odommo Bangladesh Foundation ( known as মজার ইশকুল :: Mojar School ) started its journey at Suhrawardy Udyan with 13 street children. The realization of the social responsibility of a youth group initiated the idea through a facebook post.
Odommo Bangladesh Foundation ( known as মজার ইশকুল :: Mojar School )is a non-political, non-profitable organization which has been working with the aim of building street children free Bangladesh since 2013. The organization ensures nutrition, education, technology, treatment, safe accommodation along with necessary relevant. It has implemented many major development programs such as Educational Program, Youth Development Program, Rehabilitation Program, Food and Nutrition Program and Residential Program, specially designed for underprivileged children. Currently Odommo Bangladesh Foundation works across 05 divisions, covering a population of over 2000 underprivileged children per month, improving the quality of their lives. Odommo Bangladesh Foundation is a government-registered organization registered under the Registrar of Joint Stock societies registration act XXI of 1860.
At present, Odommo Bangladesh Foundation is working with a consortium of Bangladeshi donors. Besides, The organization has its own social enterprise such as Mojar Hotel & Restaurant, Mojar Shop. At present, earning from social enterprise has a great contribution in Odommo Bangladesh Foundation’s sustainability.
